Ps4 set auto download

I read in another forum somewhere, one person said they couldn't ever get their PS4 to auto update no matter what they did. Anyone else ever hear of this? Thanks. I had had the opposite problem for 2 years. lol I unchecked the auto download, but it always downloads the update and I have to cancel it. lol Wanna trade PS4's??
